ABOUT

There is growing acknowledgement in the Americas that ICT products and services should be developed in accordance with relevant international standards, regulations and other specifications, and that their compliance is tested. The revised WTDC Resolution 47 (Busan, 2014) addressed the necessity of capacity building activities to enable developing countries to perform conformance and interoperability testing of equipment and systems.

The training will be delivered in the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between ITU and CPqD.

PURPOSE

The main objective of the training is to increase capacity on Conformance and Interoperability (C&I), focusing on the international issues related to the C&I Regimes, including market surveillance, the type approval testing for mobile terminals, and NGN integration and interoperability testing. Similar to previous events on C&I the training event includes practical exercises in real testing laboratories.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The Training Course is open to professionals with the aim or interest to conduct practical testing activities on Conformance and Interoperability or is working in correlated fields.
