    ITU AND ANATEL: Making an impact in the Brazilian telecommunication market

    ​The International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the Brazilian Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL) have successfully completed a two-year joint project on the pricing of telecommunication services in the country aimed at reducing costs and improving services.

    Strengthening the satellite industry in the Asia-Pacific region

    "This first Satellite Symposium organized by ITU provided a unique opportunity to all stakeholders to gather under one roof and discuss the issues in an open environment,” said Dr. Syed Ismail Shah, Chairman of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority. Dr Shah attended the Symposium last September, in Bangkok, Thailand.
