1st Chief Regulatory Officers Meeting

 

The 1st Chief Regulatory Officers Meeting (CRO Meeting) took place on 1st October 2012, in the framework of the Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR) in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The CRO Meeting and the GSR are organized by the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the ITU.

OBJECTIVE

​The CRO Meeting is a new Forum for private sector Chief Regulatory Officers. It has been created to facilitate discussion and information sharing among telecommunication service and technology companies. Senior industry executives will discuss common issues, share best practices and identify industry's perspectives regarding attracting investment; deploying extending and upgrading networks; spectrum management; public-private partnerships; and regulatory processes.

PROGRAMME

​The CRO Meeting 2012 took place on 1st October 2012 at the Hilton Colombo Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
