This Recommendation describes the functional architecture of mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN) service based on host-based mobility framework in NGN and defines the reference points in it. This Recommendation focuses on remote access VPN and community-based VPN in which mobile UEs (MUEs) are directly involved. The high-level mobile VPN service procedures on the functional architecture are described as well.
