Media RelationsPress Officer Nomination

We offer a range of services to help our participants take advantage of the media and industry analyst opportunities available at ITU TELECOM WORLD 2009. To benefit, we suggest participants nominate a “Press Officer”.

Role of a Press Officer

The Press Officer plays a central role in ensuring that their organization or clients has maximize visibility with the media while present at the event. Registering as a Press Officer is the only method of securing access to the Accredited Media & Analyst list available online. Press Officer contact details are also made available via our password-protected web pages and are distributed to the journalists/analysts accredited for the event.

Press Officers act as the official contact for journalists/analysts during WORLD 2009 and will be badged accordingly so as to accompany participating organizations and individuals on-site. Press Officers also serve as the communication channel between our media relations service and the organization they represent, and are the only representative of a participating organization with access to the on-site Media Centre facilities and able to reserve the press conference room.
