CEO Roundtable: Adapting to Circumstances

How have companies responded to the global financial crisis, given that it was not foreseen? How do companies plan ahead given the very rapid pace of technological change? And how do you respond when customers quickly flock to something or reject something else? Disruptive changes come from economic, social and technological sources, but can be difficult to predict. Join high-level participants addressing these issues in this CEO Roundtable. Invited CEO and top-level panelists for the session include: Eduardo Barnetche Girard, America Movil; Anoop Gupta, Microsoft Corporation; Tadashi Onodera, KDDI Corporation; Carsten Schloter, Swisscom SA; Lirong Shi, ZTE Corporation; William T. Morrow, Clearwire Corporation; Dato' Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, Telekom Malaysia Berhad. Moderator: Jonathan Dharmapalan, Ernst & Young. View session information or the Forum Programme Overview online.

Empowering People with Disabilities through ICTs

About 10 per cent of the world’s population has a disability of one form or another. While their living conditions vary, these people are united in one common experience – being exposed to various forms of discrimination and social exclusion. Even in the absence of a well-coordinated and well-planned infrastructure, ICTs offer people with disabilities new opportunities to compensate for physical and functional limitations, access knowledge by adapting media to their impairment, and enhance social and economic integration. UNESCO is organizing this fantastic pavilion and invites interested partners to contact them directly.  Download the pdf leaflet for further information.

Last Opportunities for BIG Event Branding!

Every company seeks to complement commercial activities with a mix of visibility options to enhance its unique presence and position.
