BY AIRPORT EXPRESS/MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY (MTR)

The easiest and fastest way to get to AsiaWorld-Expo for World 2006 is to take the convenient Airport Express Train to the in-venue station.  Trains depart every 12 minutes and the frequency and capacity can be extended to meet peak hour demand during the event.  Service hours are currently 0550 to 0048 (departing from Hong Kong Station) and 0600 to 0045 (departing from AsiaWorld-Expo Station).

The Octopus Card is a unique electronic purse widely used in all Hong Kong's public transports (including AEL, MTR, and franchised buses), convenience stores, vending machines, carparks, etc. The Cards are available for sale in any MTR station (including Airport Express stations and at the Airport and AWE), and in a number of outlets such as bus stations. Additional value can be loaded to the cards at any location that accepts them for payment.
