ASIA WORLD-EXPO: THE VENUE

ITU TELECOM WORLD will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo, an exciting new venue conveniently situated at the Hong Kong International Airport. It offers over 66,000 m² of rentable space for trade fairs, conventions or entertainment events. The modern complex is located at the centre of an extensive and efficient air, land and marine transport network connecting Hong Kong with China's Pearl River Delta and the world's business capitals.

    Some features of ASIAWORLD-EXPO

  • AsiaWorld-Expo offers 10 ground-level, column free exhibition halls and a meeting and conference centre, with a range of meeting rooms in various sizes. 
  • Each hall has its own underground utility servicing, data and telecoms connections. 
  • All the halls have ground level access, allowing easy and quick access for contractors, exhibitors and visitors alike.

LANGUAGE

Hong Kong has a population of 7 million people. Almost 95% of the population is Chinese. The official languages are Chinese and English, with Cantonese the most widely spoken Chinese dialect. English is widely spoken in Hong Kong. Most signs are in both English and Chinese.

CLIMATE

Hong Kong has a sub-tropical climate with distinct seasonal changes. It is the most pleasant time when you visit Hong Kong in late November and early December. The weather will be cool with low humidity. Temperature ranges from 18°C (64°F) to 28°C (82°F) with humidity average at 70%. Occasional chills make woolens and overcoats worth bringing.
