The Multimedia City of Pau, an activity centre specialized in welcoming ICT firms, is benefiting from the unparalleled dynamic of being France's pioneering area in the broadband Internet. The Pau Broadband Country operation, with the development of a gigabyte fully optical fibre operated metropolitan Ethernet, is the first broadband platform in France. By the end of 2003, it will enable everyone living in the Pau urban area to have access to 100 megabyte speeds for 30 euros per month. Our firms will both benefit from and implement innovative services, contents and applications thanks to the potentialities of the broadband.
