The Walloon Export Agency (AWEX) is a full partner to Walloon exporters. Objectives:- enhancing and improving Walloon companies' capacity for export; promoting Walloon economic potential, products and know-how among foreign companies. Means:- information seminars about foreign markets, market studies, organization of contacts with trade officers; economic missions and contact days abroad; Walloon weeks abroad; Walloon collective business participation in specialized trade fairs and exhibitions abroad; welcoming foreign buyers to Wallonia. To cover its mission, AWEX has central services based in Brussels, 6 regional centres in Wallonia and a network of 94 trade officers abroad.
