 Cybersecurity Side Event during World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-08)

Introduction
On 23 October, 18:00-19:00 hours, the WTSA side event on cybersecurity is convened to address the global concern of security in information and communication technologies (ICT), as well as providing a high-level overview of the subject.

ITU-T had intensive work on cybersecurity over the past study period and this side event provides an opportunity to review and reflect upon the results.

This side event will also provide insights on security challenges that the ICT community including network operators, enterprises, governments and individuals are facing.
Objectives
The WTSA side event on cybersecurity will provide an overview of ITU-T cybersecurity activities and will be an opportunity for participants to express their views on ITU-T future standardization work in this area.
