In recent years many cost effective Multimedia Broadband Global Communication network
operators are planning to use the next generation communication satellite systems. These
satellites extensively use advanced technology in the areas of efficient Onboard Processing
Payloads, phased array and large, lightweight, shaped beam deployable reflector antenna. This
presentation describes the features of these advanced effective technology and designs. The
discussions shows how these superior hardware and software techniques are employed in achieving
the improved network flexibility, capacity and performance for cost effective Multimedia Satellite
communication services.
