Charles TEISING
holds a B.Sc. from the United States Military Academy – West Point and a
M.Sc. from the University of Southern California. He has been closely involved
with International and US national telecommunications standards as a member of
Bell Laboratories – Lucent Technologies for the past two decades including
Signaling System No. 7, application of parts of SS7 to mobile networks, ANSI-41
network standards, and the ISDN. His organization is currently responsible for
development of the IP multimedia core network standards for evolving cdma2000
and evolving UMTS/GSM networks within the 3GPP and 3GPP2 partnership projects.
Lucent Technologies has been a member and leader in the Telecommunications
Industry Association and its predecessors for over twenty years.
