Prof. Wolfgang Bremer, studied from 1962 to 1968 "Elektrische Nachrichtentechnik" (Electrical communication techniques) at the university of Karlsruhe (Germany).
Since 1970 he is working with Robert Bosch GmbH in different areas of the “Corporate Research and Development”, responsible e.g. for the development of serial data communication (CAN) in vehicles, diagnostics, and sophisticated vehicle anti-theft systems.
Currently he is director within the "Corporate Automotive Integration" of Robert BOSCH GmbH responsible for legislation and standardisation issues concerning automotive components.
Besides the activities at Robert BOSCH GmbH Wolfgang Bremer is giving lectures at the university of Karlsruhe (Germany) in “Vehicle Electronics”.
Prof. Bremer is a member or chairman of several ISO and SAE committees in the field of electrical and electronic vehicle equipment, diesel injection equipment, serial data communication and diagnostics. |
