Isao Nakajima, M.D., Ph.D.
Associate Professor at Nakajima Laboratory of Tokai University Institute of Medical Sciences,
Isehara-city, also an invited senior researcher of the Communications Research Laboratory,
Koganei-city, Japan. He received his M.D. degree from Tokai Univ. in 1980 and Ph.D. in 1987,
has finished his chief resident course of the general surgery at Tokai University Hospital, and
has a board of supervisor of the Japanese Acute Medicine Association. He has studied and developed
satellite communications applications since 1983, and conducted Asia Pacific Medical Network using
ETS-V satellite ; AMINE / PARTENRS project. He is now involved nation wide emergency call project
with Highly inclined Elliptical Orbiter. He has been a consultant of NASDA, NAL, JICA, WB, WHO-WPRO,
and the Vice-Rapporteur of ITU-D SG-2 Q14 ½.
