CVs of the speakers
Dimitri Konstantas is Prof. at the University of Geneva (CH)
and the University of Twente (NL) heading the OSG and APS groups
respectivelly.
He was previously appointed Assistant Professor of Multimedia
Communication Systems at the Social and Economics Science Faculty of the
University of Geneva, and was researcher at the National Defense Research Center in Athens and
the Institute of Computer Science, FORTH, at Heraklio, Crete.
Prof. Konstantas has performed research, has numerous publications and
has chaired conferences in Object Oriented Systems, Computer
communications and Multimedia Systems as well as e-commerce and
applications.
He has a long participation in numerous European and Swiss research and
industrial projects and he has been a consultant and expert to several European companies
and governments.
His present interests include networked and mobile applications in the
area of e-health, electronic commerce and specifically commercialization of
intangible goods, agent based applications, multimedia applications and
communication systems.
