John Borras is responsible for the management of various UK e-Government technical frameworks, including
the Interoperability Framework (e-GIF) and the UK GovTalk website. He manages various UK working groups
that support the frameworks and also represents OeE and UK on various European and International standards
groups. He is the chair of two OASIS Technical Committees, one on e-voting standards and one on e-government
standards.

Jean-Marc Cambien, is a chartered Tax Counsellor with the Belgian Institute of Chartered Accountants and Tax
Counsellors (IAB-IEC). He is specialized in VAT (with a focus on companies in the technology and telecommunications
sector) amongst others with respect to electronic invoicing and archiving. He also acted as project manager and as
technical expert for several studies carried out for the European Commission (‘Study on elements related to the
charging of indirect taxes which are required by Member States to be included in invoices produced by electronic
means or other means’, ‘Study on simplification and modernisation of VAT obligations’).

Michel Chevallier, 43, is in charge of the communication of the eVoting project in Geneva.
He belongs to the project’s pilot group and the Council of Europe working group on eVoting.

where you can find much project-related material, albeit most of it only in French. You can

Reiner Denner qualified as a certified tax expert and certified merchant at the University of
Tübingen (Germany). He is a specialist in international tax planning in connection with company
restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and VAT. He leads the tax network D-A-CH
(Germany-Austria-Switzerland) and the ICE network (Information, Communication, Entertainment).
He is a member of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce.

Douglas Jones

Douglas Jones has served on the Iowa Board of Examiners for Voting Machines and Electronic
Voting Systems since 1994, and he served as chair from 1999 to 2002. After the controversial
election of 2000, he was called to testify before the United States Commission on Civil Rights
and the Science Committee of the United States House of Representatives, and he was appointed t
o the Iowa Election Reform Task Force.

Aljosa Pasic

Aljosa Pasic was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1969. He studied and worked at the Universities
of Zagreb (Croatia), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Eindhoven (The Netherlands). From 1996 to
1998, he worked for Cap Gemini in Utrecht (The Netherlands) and in January 1999 he joined Sema Group
Spain as the project manager for the Spanish Council of Justice project. He also worked on projects
for the Dutch Ministry of Defence, the Government of the Canaries Islands, the Cyprus Government and
the European Commission, among others. At the moment he is Head of Advanced Information Management
Unit within the SchlumbergerSema Technology Center in Madrid, where he currently focuses on
e-government interoperability.

Mr. Petraitis is a Partner with VNI Vision Network International specialized in international projects,
business development, marketing and strategy. He particularly likes to deal with clients' complex project
strategy and projects in crisis. He previously was a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was
European leader for Privacy Services. He has had a long career in IT and business consulting internationally.
He has a degree in Sociology from the University of California and has completed studied Advanced Management
in Amsterdam and at INSEAD.

as a Senior Tax Manager at KPMG Zürich since 1999. He is a specialist in corporate taxes (national
