This Recommendation describes the requirements for telecommunication network equipment installed in telecommunication facilities, such as telecommunication centres, customer premises and outside plants. Telecommunication network equipment in the scope of this Recommendation include phone switching equipment , access equipment, optical transmission equipment, IP & Switch network equipment, server & storage equipment, supervisory equipment, network power supply equipment. The network equipments provide telecommunications services: voice, data, audio and video to the users, using all applicable media and all kinds of wire-line access technologies, such as DSL, Ethernet, Optical fibre, E1, PON, DOCSIS, PLC ,CATV or others.
