This recommendation provides best practices for information security management for telecommunication organizations to support Recommendation ITU-T X.1051. This recommendation is based on a process approach to describe a set of security management areas, which gives guidelines of telecommunication organizations to fulfil the control objectives defined in Recommendation ITU T X.1051. The management areas including asset management, incident management, risk management policy management and map the controls defined by Recommendation ITU-T X.1051 to achieve methodologies.
