Summary: This Recommendation contains the basic definition of energy efficiency metrics and measurement methods required to evaluate the energy efficiency of a total network when including the energy consumption for: " all the TLC/ ICT equipment in the network, " all facilities equipment (cooling systems, site monitoring systems (for power consumption, environment parameters, etc), fire protection and lighting systems for the whole sites and core rooms, energy losses in DC power station or AC UPS and in the power distribution " maintenance activities and site visit energy used for transportation e.g. by car), " diesel generator used for emergency purposes.
