The Continua Design Guidelines uses/generates the IHE Technical Framework for use with both its Health Reporting Network (HRN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) interfaces. This document, the IHE Patient Care Device Technical Framework (IHE PCD TF) Semantic Content, defines specific implementations of established standards to achieve integration goals for the Patient Care Device domain. Such integration promotes appropriate sharing of medical information to support optimal patient care.
