The ITU Constitution and Convention and the ITU Financial Regulations stipulate that the Secretary-General
of the Union may accept voluntary financial contributions in cash or in kind, in addition to the regular
contributions from the Member States and Sector Members of the Union.
Resolution 34, "Voluntary Contributions (Montreal 2000)"
resolves to encourage the financing of specific projects, focus groups or other new initiatives by
voluntary contributions.
Voluntary Contributions
Voluntary contributions are valuable and efficient instruments in the financing of extra activities
for the Sector and have permitted ITU-T to make significant progress in its work.
Call for Voluntary Contributions
TSB has drawn up a preliminary list of projects, submitted to WTSA-04,
which would require financing through voluntary contributions.
TIES account required.
