Funciones de control de recursos y admisión en las redes de próxima generación |
La Recomendación UIT-T Y.2111 describe la arquitectura funcional y los requisitos de las funciones de control de recursos y admisión (RACF) en las redes de la próxima generación (NGN), que pueden comprender diversas tecnologías de acceso y transporte básicas, así como múltiples dominios. Las RACF se encargan de la gestión de recursos de transporte basados en políticas y aplicaciones en tiempo real, para respaldar la calidad de servicio (QoS) de extremo a extremo, el control de puertas, la traducción de direcciones de red y los traductores de direcciones de red distantes. Las RACF no son específicas al servicio sino que los diferentes servicios pueden utilizarlas esté o no involucrado el subsistema multimedios IP. En particular, esta edición de la Recomendación UIT-T Y.2111 contempla ampliaciones con respecto a la edición de 2008 para abordar cuestiones relativas a la interacción con las funciones de control de 3GPP, las funciones de control de recursos y admisión entre las NGN y redes IP que no reconocen las RACF, los servicios de televisión diferidos al por mayor, la degradación de la calidad de servicio, la movilidad, el control de recursos y admisión basado en el perfil del usuario abonado, la utilización de la inspección detallada de paquetes (DPI), la comunicación entre las RACF y la gestión de la medición de la calidad de funcionamiento (MPM), el control de la tasación basada en políticas y los servicios TVIP por invitación. |
