TSB is launching a new online system for questionnaires. The first such questionnaires have now been posted for Study Group 3’s Latin America and Carribean (LAC) Regional Group: please see e.g.  https://www.itu.int/en/ITU-T/studygroups/2013-2016/03/sg3rglac/Pages/questionnaires/sg3lac-costmodels.aspx.

The corresponding Circular will be issued next week.

The advantages of this system include the following:

• Security: Delegate responses are TIES protected and processed by ITU. 
• Ease of use: Access to questionnaires is through the Study Group website.
• Question variety: Multiple choice, true/false, open-ended, mandatory/non-mandatory
• Rapid processing and functionality: Real-time results, custom reports, individual response, and visually pleasant graphics

To access the questionnaires (that may be cited in a TSB Circular), delegates can simply enter their TIES username (username@ties.itu.int) and password.  They can follow the numbered questions and indicate their choices by clicking on them or by providing text in the case of open-ended questions.  A progress bar indicates how far along they are and a thank you message confirms when they have completed the questionnaire.
