Following the decision of SG6 meeting to update the text of the ITU-T handbook - "Construction, installation, jointing and protection of optical fiber cables" - Ed. 1994 and in order to facilitate the Rapporteurs in their work, the handbook has been posted in the electronic version, subdivided by chapters. Rapporteurs are invited to manage the updating of the chapters falling under their responsibility.

To facilitate exchange of proposals and comments, a mailing list has been created
