Merger of Study Groups 7 and 10 into new Study Group 17
At its meeting of 19-23 March, 2001, the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (TSAG) approved the merger of Study Group 7 and Study Group 10 into a single new Study Group 17 entitled “Data Networks and Telecommunication Software”. 

The management teams of the two study groups (Study Groups 7 and 10) have started work leading to merger into the new Study Group 17 which came into effect on 17 September 2001.
