Using a drive for gathering all the
publications documents can be convenient. Moreover, by doing so, it allows the update
of the database and of the documents from the IFIC.
Database update
The database on which the program performs queries can be updated before the
release of the next BR IFIC Collection DVD-ROM.
Every 3 months a new database will be released on the SRS CD-ROM and will be
available on this page for download.

Click on the link snl-fin.exe (This is a self-extracting
file created with WinZip) |

Select Run from the dialog box |

Select Unzip from the WinZip Menu |

Step 4 |
The file has to be unzip in the folder : C:\Program Files\ITU SNL-B,
selected by default |
Publication documents update
The update of the database with the current year data enable the users to
perform query on the current year data, but as the BR IFIC collection DVD-ROM is
not yet released for these data, the publication documents have also to be
updated in order to be consulted.
Publications documents can be updated from the BRIFIC CD-ROM.
This action has to be done for each IFIC CD-ROM of the
current year.

Choose a drive to be the repository drive (Please consult

Create or select the folder ificpdf\data |

Step 3 |
In this folder, create a folder named with the BR IFIC
CD-ROM number |

Step 4 |
Copy all the folders contained in the PDF folder of the BR
IFIC CD-ROM |
