Dear Sir/Madam,

I am pleased to inform you that the registration for the Global Symposium
for Regulators, that will take place at the Hilton Colombo Hotel, Colombo,
Sri Lanka from 2 to 4 October 2012, is now open. Please refer to our invitation letter sent to your Organization last April. The first two days of GSR, the Global Regulators-Industry Dialogue (GRID), will be open to regulators, policy makers, and ITU-D Sector Members. The third day is a closed session for regulators and policy-makers only.

I would like to thank those of you who have already responded
positively to our invitation and invite others to register online following the usual procedure as described at this address.

The theme of this year's GSR is "Why regulate in a global networked
society?" and the draft programme is available for download at this address.

I also invite you consult our visibility packages and to sponsor the GRID,
a premium opportunity for organizations to meet and network with regulators and policy makers.

I look forward to your participation in the forthcoming GSR and to meeting you in Colombo.

Yours faithfully,

Brahima Sanou
BDT Director

You have received this reminder as part of your engagement with ITU-D and GSR. GSR will open with a high level interactive segment, focusing on transnational regulatory issues in a converged digital era, understanding the changing business dynamics and the role of regulation.
