TRAINING WORKSHOP on Telecommunications Policy and Regulation for Competition

Bangkok, Thailand
 11-15 July 2005

ITU and NTC/Thailand organized a regional training workshop on Telecommunications Policy and Regulation for Competition in Bangkok, Thailand from 11 to 15 July 2005. Program

The workshop discussed the following:

· Competition policy in the telecommunications sector: e.g. Network Externalities, Game  Theory, Essential Facilities Doctrine, Anti-Trust Analysis, etc.
Dispute resolution mechanisms
· Consumer protection mechanisms
