The Development Sector of the International Telecommunication Union has undertaken a study of the potential of telemedicine to meet some of the health care needs of developing countries. A copy of the current version of the Report on Telemedicine and Developing Countries can be found on the Inmarsat Web site at:http://www.inmarsat.org/newsroom/telemed/telemedfr.html

In order to help identify possible solutions, we are compiling a directory of suppliers of telemedicine products, software, service providers, system integrators and telemedicine institutes. This directory will be sent to all 188 member countries of the ITU and will be made available on the World Wide Web.
