Session 1: Spectrum management: theory and practice

Session Chairman: Miloud Ameziane, Head, Regional Office for Arab States, ITU

Objectives: This session will provide information on ITU-D activities including the ones conducted by the Regional Office for ARB, to help in spectrum management activities in developing countries. This session will also discuss the frameworks of the international and national spectrum management. Discussion will focus on:

Session 2: Ensuring access to the spectrum, spectrum management processes

Objectives: This session will provide an overview of spectrum management processes and the access to the spectrum. This session specifically addresses:

Session 3: Spectrum sharing opportunities

Objectives: This session will discuss the ways and opportunities of the spectrum sharing among the users/services. Issues will include:
