Telefonica Negocios presents the first national competition for software developers for SMEs

Through the contest "Open App", Telefónica Negocios invites to entrepreneurs and students of systems across the country to upload to the site www.openapp.com .ar software applications that facilitate business processes of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) in Argentina, promoting their employability and increasing their professionalism within the sector. Everybody can participate from now until January 31, 2011.

The 20 applications that will be preselected will access to a training in Telefónica Foundation, for the "Social Media Marketing" and incubation of development in the Data Center servers of the company, to host their application. From these 20 applications, will be chosen 10 that will be the winners of the contest, which will access, in addition to the benefits obtained in the previous instance, a cash prize.

The project is promoted jointly with NEC, and it will be presented in various cities around the country through the "Marathon 2.0", a series of meetings for discussion the technological reality network, coordinated by the institution Valleys.

With this contest, Telefónica Business seeks to SME reach a variety of tools under the model of cloud computing to help solve different problems in managing IT processes, including billing, training, customer relations , accounting, finance and human resources, among others.
