ITU NBTC Training Program 2011
|
|
The Office of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, Thailand, has an ongoing initiative with the International Telecommunication Union to enhance the skills of its staff and the telecommunication/ICT industry stakeholders in various areas of telecommunication and broadcasting regulation and development. Building on the success of the initiative, the ITU and the Office of NBTC would like to continue the partnership and organize three training programs between March and December 2011, in Thailand. This project also contributes to meet overall objectives of the ITU-D (2011-2014) in general and the Asia-Pacific Regional Initiatives in particular. To implement these activities, the Office of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) and the ITU have signed a Voluntary Contribution Agreement (VCA) wherein a contribution of USD 78'628 will be made by the NBTC to implement this project.
