|Dr. Mohd Syazwan Abdullah|
Dr. Mohd Syazwan Abdullah graduated with a PhD (Computer Science) from University of York, UK in 2006 and works in the areas of knowledge management, knowledge engineering, knowledge management technologies, knowledge-based systems, information engineering and public/enterprise computing. Currently he holds the post as Associate Professor at the School of Computing at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and Director of ITU-UUM Center of Excellence for Rural ICT Development. He is passionate about using ICT for development and empowering underserved communities around the region. He has been invited as guest speakers in various ITU CoE events for ICT Development in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Karachi, Fiji and Cape Town.
