Mr. Mohammed Al Charchafchi is Zain Iraq Chairman and Acting CEO. He holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Al Hikma University, Iraq.
With his vast experience in the fields of finance and investment, Mr. Al Charchafchi was appointed Chairman of Zain Iraq in 2004. His professional career started in 1970 with AR Charchafchi& Sons Co., established in 1952 where he had assumed the Board membership and CEO position from 1970 till present.
Mr. Al Charchafchi is also one of the founders and currently the Director of The Iraqi British Business Council (IBBC), an organization specialized in facilitating trade, investment, human resources, training, technology transfer and know-how into the Republic of Iraq since 2003.
