AfriNIC, the Region Internet Registry (RIR) for the African region, is headquartered in Cyber City, Ebene, Mauritius, and is a non-governmental and not-for-profit membership based organisation. Our primary responsabilies are distributing and managing IP addresses and related resources. There are a total of five RIRs world-wide, sharing the same mission but covering different regions.
