ITU-APT Foundation of India

ITU-APT Foundation of India formed in 2003 as a non-profit, non-political body and registered under society act in India.The Foundation activities broadly relates to: (1) coordination, promotion and formulation of expert opinion on topical subjects including radio-communications, spectrum management, radio regulations, telecommunication standardization and telecommunication development; (2) to act as a bridge between the industry and other institutions on the one hand and the government and regulatory agencies on the other; (3)to promote, support and participate in the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference, WTDC, WSIS, TDAG, ITU Telecom and other major ITU-D meetings and events.
