The ITU Regional Seminar on Costs and Tariffs, organized jointly by the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) and the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with the Agence de Régulation des Télécommunications et des Postes du Sénégal (ARTP) was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dakar (Senegal), from 16 to 17 March 2010.

A Regional Meeting of the Study Group 3 Regional Group for Africa (SG3RG-AFR) followed the seminar from 18 to 19 March 2010.   The seminar was conducted in English and French and interpretation was provided.   Participants were requested to submit in advance an update of their telecommunication sector scenario including insights into aspects of regulation and pricing policy.
