In the framework of the “Harmonization of ICT
Policies in Sub-Sahara Africa” (HIPSSA) Project the ITU is undertaking an
assessment study covering all Sub-Sahara African countries on practices
related to regulatory auditing and cost modeling. This activity was
identified as a key component of the HIPSSA Project during its launch.
The HIPSSA project is a sub-project of the global
ITU-EC Project encompassing Sub-Sahara Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific
supported by the European Commission (EC). Relevant information related to

To facilitate the data collection process, your
organization is requested to fill the
Questionnaire
and provide the name and contact details of a focal point for regulatory
auditing and cost modeling issues in your organization. The deadline for
submission of the questionnaire duly completed is 12 January 2012.
The team of ITU experts working on this Assessment
Study is composed of Ms. Saïda OUEDERNI, overall coordinator; Mr. Alain
SAWADOGO, West Africa; Mr. Christopher KEMEI, East Africa; Mr. Armand
LICHAMBANY, Central Africa; and Ms. Hilda MUTSEYEKWA for Southern Africa.
Regional workshops will be organized once the
assessment is completed in order to present the results.
