Knowledge-sharing and Cross-fertilization
At ITU TELECOM ASIA 2004,
which will be held in Busan (Korea, Rep. of) from 7 to 11 September 2004, the
TDS will bring together managers from national telecommunication entities in the
developing countries of the Region to attend an ITU TELECOM event to acquire first-hand
knowledge of the latest developments in telecommunications and to consider how
that knowledge could be applied to their own development plans. The Symposium
will
also provide an effective platform for interaction between representatives of
ITU Member States and industry experts, with a view to setting development goals
and recommendations for their implementation.
