Training for Central and Eastern European Administrations on Enhanced Collaboration with the ITU

 

Training on Enhanced Collaboration with the ITU has been organized for Central and Eastern European Administrations by the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT) in close collaboration with the Radiocommunication and Standardization Bureaus as well as General Secretariat. The training is going to be held from 26-27 January 2009 in the ITU Headquarters, Room A (Tower Building).

The purpose of this training is to provide the overview of key ITU activities, to highlight the opportunities for enhanced cooperation with the ITU, to show best practices, to present the working methods and to demonstrate the possible involvement of new membership from the CEE countries in the works of the ITU.

This training is targeted at the staff of the Ministries and Regulatory Authorities, in particular those who require very good understanding of the ITU role and functions in the telecommunication/ICT sector for accomplishing their tasks.
