PATRICIA CARRENO FERRÉ, Director General, Regulation and International Affairs of Communications Bureau, Perú

Lawyer from Mayor National University of San Marcos, has a Master's Degree on Intellectual Property Law and Competition from Pontific Catholic University of Peru.  She also has a postgraduate specialization in Law and Management of Telecommunications from Andina Simón Bolívar University of Quito and the Externado University of Colombia as well as various international courses.
With a teaching experience since February of 2008, she works now as Director of Regulatory and International Affairs of Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru, responsible for the designing and management of public policies on the telecommunications field.

 Currently, she is also Technical Secretary of the Multisectorial Standing Committee, responsible for the National Plan of frequency allocation and for monitoring the fulfillment t of obligations of all State Entities in installing optical fiber ducts in the development of new electric transmission projects and transportation of hydrocarbons as well as in new road plans, which would lead to a fast construction of the Fiber Optic backbone that Peru requires.
