In Brief
The
challenge to create an environment where the latest competing e-business
technologies from ICT companies, maintaining ITU's technology neutrality,
would be put together as one integrated solution, taking advantage of
economies of scale to reduce the deployment cost in developing countries
who wish would be provided these solutions at no cost to kick-start
their e-business initiatives, resulted in the need to organize a
training workshop where the participating countries would be sponsored
to attend the workshop.
