Ongoing project to build B2B e-commerce infrastructure. Within the framework of the ITU & Fundandina MoU, more than 27 courses and seminars on ICT have been given and a centre for training and development has been created and is currently functioning. The MoU has led investment in infrastructure, the creation of a training centre and alliances with operators and
equipment manufacturers in Latin America.
The Training and Development Centre (CCD) is an extension of Fundandina dedicated to training, application, consulting, research, and development. The CCD has the mission to promote the development, research and practices of personalised alternative training that will permit the construction of well understood knowledge, abilities in constant
development, and congruent & concrete routine actions that will
improve the community's life.
The CCD currently offers the following services:
- Navigation through the INTERNET with the help of ten apt computers for training and research of information on different Web Sites. Fundandina has its owned server;
- Different Courses and Workshops on ITC for children and adults are held in the Computers Room for training. The room is completely equipped with video beam, Internet connection, and blackboard. Two more rooms with a capacity of 20 persons each are available for tutorial courses or conferences;
- Personalised consultation regarding ITC projects through a professional staff qualified for consulting and make researches on Internet, in order to cover the demands of the society. Fundandina's people and a group of volunteers are the trainers;
- It offers digital images, save information on CD-Roms, and print documents or files;
- On-line tutorial courses, such as Internet, Coral Draw, Windows 95, The Network, Java, Linux, Flash 4.0, and Dream weaver; and
- Fundandina's website links to Acrobat and WinZip
90+ websites with e-commerce portals have been created under the training & supervision of the Fundandina group.
The project is entirely funded by Fundandina.
