Implementation of an Electronic Commerce Payment System (ECDC Center) in Chile run and operated by the entity created (or existing). This center will provide electronic commerce services to merchants and include provision of secure online credit card payment systems to merchants participating in the pilot project, mail services, merchant profile administration and store profile administration.
The pilot project will focus on sales of tourism services and locally produced artifacts, but in order to ensure sustainability, the
center would be scaleable to accept other merchants. The requirements of the payment system such as Card Brands, Supported
Currencies, Protocol Supported, Payment and Gateway Software, Commerce Service Provider, Data Privacy issues, and Security Policy have been defined and identified.
