Welcome to the ITU's Global Telecentres Portal dedicated to sharing information about telecentres around the world. The aim of the portal is to capture, maintain and update telecentres information, provide a visual mapping of telecentres worldwide and consequently share this data. The tools on the website bring together people and organizations worldwide who are working in the area of telecentres.

Why are telecentres important?

Telecentres continue to play a crucial role in increasing access to Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) and thereby reducing the digital divide, especially in developing countries.
