How
e-Science Can Help to Solve Pressing Societal Challenges: Fostering a
Global Effort to Develop a Worldwide e-Infrastructure for Computational
Neuroscientists to Fight Alzheimer's Disease.
Geneva, ITU, United Nations, 20 February, 2012
The aim of the workshop is to define collaboration agreements
among stakeholders, aiming to kick start the structuring of the
"skeleton" of a global virtual laboratory for high throughput
image analysis by (i) developing full interoperability among the
currently operational three core nodes of neuGRID, LONI, and
CBRAIN; and (ii) deploying local nodes internationally.
