Biography of Eduardo E. Jaen
Mr. Eduardo E. Jaen is the General Administrator of the National Authority for Governmental Innovation of the Republic of Panama, a government post. In this capacity, Mr. Jaen oversees the use of information and communications technology by government agencies, promotes better services to citizens and looks for ways to improve government efficiency. He also seeks to enhance Panama’s competitiveness.
Eduardo E. Jaen is the point person for the government’s digital inclusion programs, including the deployment and administration of Panama´s free wireless Internet initiative. In addition, his agency is responsible for the administration and operation of centralized ICT services and the protection of the government´s ICT infrastructure.
He holds a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
