Registration procedure
1. Pre-registration
Pre-registration for participants is conducted by the
Connect Africa Summit Registration Service on the basis of information provided
through the designated focal points (DFPs). To designate a focal point for
participation, an official request should be submitted to the Summit
Registration Service (Fax: +41 22 730 58 81), providing the following contact
details: first name, last name and e-mail address. The list of DFPs is
available
here.
By 31 August 2007, DFPs will have received a username and password allowing
them to effect
online pre-registration.
Important: Participants are kindly advised to limit the
size of their delegation. Access to meeting room will be restricted to three
participants per national/governmental delegation and two participants per other
type of delegation. Overpasses providing access to meeting rooms (to be worn
along with badges) can be collected from the registration desk.
2. Pre-registration confirmation letter
The DFP and each pre-registered participant will receive a confirmation
letter, by e-mail, within five working days of receipt of the completed
pre-registration forms. Pre-registered participants must present this
confirmation letter to the Connect Africa Summit registration desk, together
with some form of photo identification (passport, ID card), in order to receive
an official Summit badge. The confirmation letter can also be used as a
supporting document to apply for a visa to Rwanda.
