Activities

The activities carried out in the Americas Region are mainly focused in the achievement of objectives based on the right to information and communication through the access to Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) at affordable cost and considering the different needs inherent to each country. It is important to highlight the management of technical cooperation projects, studies and meetings in the Americas Region implemented in the framework of the Operational Plan 2011-2014, according to the objectives established in World Telecommunication Development Conference Telecommunications 2010 (CMDT-10), held in Hyderabad, India.
